iOBD2 help you to Repair ABS warning light

Repair ABS warning light on your own? To save money! Absolutely it is!

In 2007, I bought a 2007 Skoda Octavia. Last Saturday, the ABS warning light came on. These days, I am saving money for buying something big and expensive, so I had to do a quick search on its repair costs.

After a quick search online, it takes about $1800 to $2200 for a new control unit, which impresses me very much.

I called my dealer for consultation, and they told me it might be $150 for diagnostic test and tell me what is going wrong.

It surprised me! $150 for 5 minutes scanning with professional obd2 code scanners! Nope!

What is the matter with ABS system as the warning light on? I thought I could do something to deal with ABS light on problem, such as wheel sensor inspection? Yeah, I have them checked and cleaned gunk one by one. And next do tests drive to see if there made any difference. The sensors are held in place by 1 alley screw, they are a bit stiff to come out but with a little gentle leverage and patience they do pop out.

When I done the rear left and the ABS warning light off, well done!

And then I came to my visit a friend, who has a scanner, iOBD2, which can scan my Skoda in 5 minutes, and show code and read as ABS fault was the rear left sensor.

Save my $150 now, how happy I am.
